Brief Description:

Preparing for, or recommending a student for a practical test?

In the end, you as the pilot applicant must prove to the examiner that you have a thorough command of the knowledge, flying skills, and decision making to "safely" exercise the privileges of your certificate.

As the recommending CFI, you are certifying that you have given, and properly documented the required training, and the pilot applicant meets the knowledge and flying abilities set by the practical test standards, and can discuss, demonstrate and execute those skills and privileges safely.

According to FAASafety Briefing Magazine, June 2024, in 2023 more than 50,000 practical tests ended in disapproval.

Don't be one of them!

Mark your calendar for this 1 hour presentation as Mike and a panel of DPEs discuss the most common failure areas.

Presentation is followed by 1 hour "Open Mic". Attendees are unmuted and invited to ask questions live.

Power Hour Lessons are specialized subjects tailored for flight instructors, but of interest to all pilots.
