In this month’s Spotlight on Safety, HAI Senior Director of Safety Chris Hill explains how this special ability enables rotorcraft aviators to land their aircraft almost anywhere—and save lives in the process. The problem, Hill shares, is that rather than Land & LIVE in dangerous situations, too many pilots press on, often in rapidly deteriorating conditions.
